Attempting to perform a simple search for a customer with special characters (GERMAN 'ß') and find no results are found.
"ß" is being interpreted as ss and no german/austrian customer searched by "ß" is found ...
AFTER the DQM Search is enabled (set profile "HZ: Enable DQM Party Search" to Yes ) you can search under simple and advanced search with %ß%
When simple search for that with Genieß% > no results return
When simple search for that customer with Genie% -> returns the customer
Activating DQM and then searching allows the results to be retrieved. However, you do not was to enable DQM
