Symptoms

On release 12:

When pick releasing project sales order lines in a Project Manufacturing (PJM) enabled, the system may allocate material from common (non project) stock or even from different project/task, in spite of the related item being hard pegged. (eg End Assembly Pegging attribute is set to 'Hard Pegging' in Item form)

The problem would occur when there is not enough available quantity for the related project/task and there is available quantity in common stock or for different project/task.
The problem occurs irrespective of the setting of the "Allow Cross Project Issues" option (check box) in PJM Organization Parameters form. (PJMFDOGP)

-- Expectation
Expect the system to backorder the line instead, because item is hard pegged.

Changes

This issue would typically surface after upgrading from R11i to R12.
