Executable:GLPPOS - Posting
Symptoms
Attempting to post journals for a specific Ledger on the start of a new year and all journals are failing with the
following error being seen in the log file:
>> glpsqs() <DATE TIME>
PERF0005: Oracle error detected in glpsqs() - ORA-20001: An active sequence assignment is found, but an active sequence or sequence version cannot be found: <SEQUENCE NAME>
This was working until the start of the new year.
All journals are seeing this issue.
When viewing the sequence assignment it is enabled and not end dated - check via
General Ledger responsibility, Accounting Setup Manager
Accounting Setups -> Accounting Options -> Accounting Sequence -> Update Sequence Context
Verify Sequence is assigned - has a start date and no end date - correct Balance type, Journal Source and Category are selected
All appears to be setup correctly and should be generating a Document Sequence when posting.
