Symptoms

The Accounts Payable Trial Balance (shortname APTBRPT) completes in status 'Warning'.
From the OPP log file extract, the following error appears:

Error message
[10/23/13 10:15:50 AM] [UNEXPECTED] [33283:RT15538518] java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
...
Caused by: oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XMLParseException: Invalid char in text.
at oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XMLError.flushErrors1(XMLError.java:337)

Steps to reproduce
1 - Run the Accounts Payable Trial Balance (shortname APTBRPT) program.
2 - This ends in Warning. The OPP log extract is cataloged above.

Business impact
Period close.
