R12.1 ACMP Custom Patch Is Not Being Applied As Product "xxpo" Is Not Recognized

Symptoms

On: 12.1.0.2.0 version, Customization Manager,
when attempting to apply a custom patch from AMP or with the adpatch,
the following error occurs:


Bug fix 100000000015 is not being applied as product "xxpo" is not recognized.
Not applying the fixes from the following included
patches as the product is neither installed nor shared:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Added several custom top products.
2. Create a custom patch via AMP >> Patch manager.
3. Try to apply the patch via AMP or directly with adpatch tool.
