'Purge After Change' Check Box On Self Service Batch Element Entry (BEE) Not Working (Doc ID 1616263.1)

Symptoms

In Self Service Batch Element Entry(BEE) - 'Purge After Change' Check Box is not working.

When the ‘Purge After Change’ flag is not checked it should not purge the data in the API tables (hr_api_transactions, hr_api_transaction_Steps and hr_api_transaction_values)
Currently this check box is not doing anything, whether it is ticked, or not.
