Requisition Gets Created With The Price On The BPA And Not Taking The Overwritten Price (Doc ID 1616399.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 11, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Purchasing - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with 'Allow Override Price' checked exists for an Item.

A Requisition is created and the price is correctly defaulted from the BPA, then overwritten with a new value.

However if Need By Date is entered or modified and line Saved, the price reverts back to original price.

User's expectation is that after he has done a Price Override on the Requisition, the system will not change the new Price back to the default.

Steps To Reproduce:
Created BPA with Item and price = 0 - check Allow Price Override
   Create ASL for BPA
Create Requisition, add item to line. Defaults BPA onto line. Price comes in as zero.
   Change price.
Add Need By Date, price is refreshed to 0.
