Symptoms

On : 12.2.3 version, Quality Management Samples

An error message in the deduct sample quantity at the quality inventory sample.
When the quality inspector is performing a quality test over an inventory sample, the following error is generated despite that the “deduct sample quantity ” transaction is active& has no inactive date at the transaction types definition at the inventory& the account assigned for the transaction is valid account, also when we removed the check box “deduct sample quantity” from the inventory validity rule assigned to the item, the error didn’t generated.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Try to create Sample for item with flag "Update Inventory Quantity" checked
2. Getting error “All records failed after line validation”


BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot create sample and deduct it from onhand .
