Security profile restrictions on Business group or FND User (Doc ID 1618214.1)

In Self Service if a user, without an employee associated with his/her FND user record, logs in they view records determined by the security Profile assigned to the responsibility.

If the user DOES have a employee associated with their FND user they view records for the business Group the employee belongs to.

Is this expected behaviour?

Customer believes that The Security Profile should determine the list of employees output and NOT the Business Group attached to the User's Employee record.

- The security profile shown is a view all profile so its not specific to limiting records via the profile.
