Create an instance in Oracle Installed Base Agent User > Item Instance
Provide item and serial number. While saving the instance, you get the following error:
After furhter investigation the same it is discovered that the item/serial number already has an instance in the system. If an End Date is added to expire the new instance with the same serial number and instance is saved, the error presists.
