Payment Is Incorrectly Accounted If CASH Accounting Line Is Posted At Payment Maturity Time (Doc ID 1622326.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Accounting Issues in AP

Payment is incorrectly accounted when CASH is posted at Payment Maturity Time.

Accounted Amount for Cash Line is created same as the payment base amount , not the invoice base amount.

Also Rounding lines are not not created for the difference.

 

STEPS
-----------------------
1. Log on Application as Payables Responsibility.
2. Create a payment with the following test case data:

Create 8 invoices with the following information with foreign currency
1st invoice : amount 16500 exchange rate = 1125.89
2nd invoice : amount 16500 exchange rate = 1125.89
3rd invoice : amount 16500 exchange rate = 1128.17
4th invoice : amount 16500 exchange rate = 1125.96
5th invoice : amount 16500 exchange rate = 1125.96
6th invoice : amount 16500 exchange rate = 1129.41
7th invoice : amount 16500 exchange rate = 1129.41
8th invoice : amount 16500 exchange rate = 1129.41


3.Paid these invoices on the payment workbench with the following information:

Exchange rate= 1127.5125  maturity rate = 1127.5125 future dated payment

The invoice base amount and payment base amount is different

4. Mature this payment

5. Create accounting for this payment

6. Check the accounting lines if final rounding line is created for PAYMENT MATURITY event.
