Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Time and Labor - Version 12.1 HRMS RUP6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The following is a requirement that is needed:

An OT-eligible employee is clocked in from 6:30AM to 5:00PM with an hours deduction policy of 0.5 hours for shifts of 7 hours or more. The last hour to charge to a different activity center. When this timecard is calculated, the employee will have 8 hours of regular time worked against his home activity center, 1.5 hours of overtime against his home activity center, and only 0.5 hours of overtime against the overridden activity center. The expectation would be that full hour against the overridden activity center since breaks generally take place in the middle of a shift. We need some way to indicate where in the shift and hours deduction would apply. How can this issue be resolved?
