On 12.1 HRMS RUP5 version in Self Service Benefits,

When attempting to access Self-Service > Benefits, the following error occurs:

You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact the System Adminstrator.


at java.util.Hashtable.put(Hashtable.java:394)
at oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAPageContextImpl.putSessionValue(OAPageContextImpl.java:1464)
at oracle.apps.ben.selfservice.enrollment.webui.EffectiveDateCO.processRequest(EffectiveDateCO.java:289)
at oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAWebBeanHelper.processRequest(OAWebBeanHelper.java:604)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Go to Employee Self-Service.
