Concurrent Request Set Complete With Normal Status When Request Set Stage Ends In Warning (Doc ID 1626821.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 12, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Concurrent Processing - Version 12.1.2 to 12.1.2 [Release 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Have defined a request set with four stages that run in sequence and enabled the other called 'The Return value of this stage affects the set Outcome' for all four stages as follows:

STAGE10 - Complete with Warning
STAGE20 - Complete with Normal
STAGE30 - Complete with Normal
STAGE40 - Complete with Normal
The final outcome of the request set is NORMAL

Because the STAGE10 completed with a warning, it is expected that the request set to also complete with a warning.

The status of the request display completed with NORMAL, although one of the stages in the request set completed in Warning. When receiving the notification the status of the email, the request set completes with a NORMAL status.  However one of the child stage completes in warning.  One would expect the request set and notification to display a status with completed with WARNING.
