You recently upgraded from 11i to R12 and you are trying to modify an existing/Standard Trial Balance Report Definition.

Goal

Why user cannot remove one account defined in a Trial Balance report definition?

EBS release 12 upgrade. AP – cannot delete existing Chart of Accounts Code Combination

1. Navigate to: Payables Responsibility > Setup > Accounting Setups > Open Account Balances Listing Definitions
2. Find your Report Definition
3. Under section "Definition Details", heading "Chart of Accounts"
4. Try to remove one existing code combination but the ‘remove’ button is greyed out.
