Recurring Journal Showing More Than 20 Decimals For Currency Conversion Rate when the rate is not defined with that many, why? (Doc ID 1627506.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Why are recurring journals wherein the currency conversion rate is showing more than 20 decimals.?

Details:
Recurring journals are showing the currency conversion rate as having more than 20 decimals. The currency rate is not defined with 20 decimals. Not seeing this same issue with Manual journals. In manual journals the currency conversion rate is same as defined in daily rates window. Expectation is that the currency conversion rate should be same as defined in daily rates window for recurring journals.
