(Doc ID 1627877.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 14, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Global Trade Management - Version 6.2.2 to 6.3.4 [Release 6.2 to 6.3]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
For certain number of records in gtm_item_classification table with classification_status in 'APPROVED' and 'CREATED'.
Due to this the classification will not be pulled into the order line by the Product Classification Lookup processing that is executed by the agent. This causes order lines to go on classification hold erroneously.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The correct statuses should be:
classification_status=Classification Created
classification_status=Classification Approved
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
a) Trade Master Data -> Trade Item Management -> Trade Item -> Select one -> edit -> delete the existing item classification -> finished.
b) Trade Master Data -> Trade Item Management -> Trade Item -> Select one-> edit -> add a new item classification -> Save -> Finished
c) Trade Master Data -> Trade Item Management -> Trade Item -> Select one-> edit -> edit item classification -> (don't select Save) -> Finished
e) Trade Master Data -> Trade Item Management -> Trade Item -> Select one-> edit -> view xml content and you would observe that classification status will be shown as "CREATED" instead of "CLASSIFICATION CREATED"
