Symptoms
On : 12.1.3 version, Create Accounting
Attempting to run the Accounting Program (XLAACCUP) and receive the following error:
ERROR ----------------------- The journal entry cannot be saved. Please inform your system administrator or support representative that:
The Accounting Program for Oracle Subledger Accounting cannot successfully save the entry for technical reasons. ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("XLA"."XLA_AE_LINES"."ACCOUNTING_DATE"). The journal entry cannot be saved. Please inform your system administrator or support representative that:
The Accounting Program for Oracle Subledger Accounting cannot successfully save the entry for technical reasons. ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL
Due to this issue, you cannot close the period.
