HZ_CUSTOMER_PROFILE was populating the STANDARD_TERMS column for all account profiles in Release 11i.

You upgraded to Release 12 and discovered that while you were creating customers, when saving the record of the customer, the following error occurs:

Balance Forward Billing is enabled. Please provide bill level data and type.

You don't want to use Balance Forward Billing you you uncheck the Balance Forward Billing option:

Responsibility:  Receivables
Navigation:  Customers > Profile Classes
Query the default profile and uncheck the Balance Forward Billing.
The system will prompt you an Update option, in that you have ticked, update all profiles.

Then concurrent program "Customer Profile Copy" was submitted and after the program completes,

In R12, HZ_CUSTOMER_PROFILES.standard_terms column is NULL for all customers using that profile class.
