Unable To Claim CENVAT For Receipt Created Against Internal Org Transfer

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Excise - Procure to Pay Cycle

When attempting to claim CENVAT from CENVAT Claim screen,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

FRM- 40350 :Query caused no record to be retrieved.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
a) Create a Inter Org shipment
b) Create a receipt referencing the same..
c) IRTP ends normally
d) When trying to claim MODVAT the receipt number is appearing in LOV but clicking on FIND throws error message "FRM- 40350 :Query caused no record to be retrieved"
