Goal

Some Batch Numbers are missing without any apparent reason

In OPM you cannot delete a production batches, but you may find that some batch numbers are missing.
You need to understand, why system seems to be deleting/avoiding some batches number in the sequence.
One would Expect to have all batch numbers appearing in sequence.

An example of the issue at customer end is the following :
1. Check batch number in table for Plant M25
2. BATCH_ID PLANT_CODE BATCH_NO
274590 M25 0000000341
274949 M25 0000000342
275251 M25 0000000352
275413 M25 0000000354
276099 M25 0000000355
275329 M25 0000000353

==> there is no batch with numbers 343, 344, 345, 346, 347, 348, 349, 350, 351 like if the batch number sequence has jumped from 342 to 352
