HRGlobal Fails: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: Numeric Or Value Error: Character String Buffer Too Small (Doc ID 1636893.1)

On : 12.1.3 version, UK Payroll, on RUP6 test instance.

When attempting to apply the hrglobal.drv file, the following error occurs.

sqlplus -s APPS/***** @/app_base/LGENV4/R12Apps/apps/apps_st/appl/per/12.0.0/patch/115/sql/perleggb.sql &un_apps &pw_apps
perleggb.sql GB Post Install and Post Delivery Housekeeping script
delete redundant GB formulas item usages, compiled formulas and formulas.

PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

delete from person latest balances

0 rows deleted.

insert missing balance feeds for user elements feeding GB balances

no rows selected

0 rows created.

insert or update Advance Pay pay_legislation_rules

PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

Bug 1759066 - Automatic update of outstanding SSP/SMP entries following install
of SSP/SMP seed data on tax year end
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
ORA-06512: at line 57

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Apply 12.1 RUP 6 patchset
2. Run datainstall, and then apply hrglobal.drv
3. Review the log files generated.
