After Making Changes to a Position Hierarchy the Requisition and Purchase Approval Workflow Behave Differently

Information in this document applies to any platform.
After making changes to a Position Hierarchy; for example, adding an approver, the changes are not taken into account when approving Requisitions that were submitted before the changes and have the status of 'In Process'.
However, when approving Purchase Orders with status 'In Process', the changes are taken into account, provided that the 'Fill Employee Hierarchy' process has been run.
