After enrolling into a benefit plan via Self-Service, there was a deduction taken from the payroll prior to the end of the enrollment period for the life event in question.
On a later date, the user has de-nrolled from the plan which removes the elements previously picked up for the last payroll run.
This results in the element to be purged instead of end dated.
Is this the expected result and how can it be avoided.
