iSupport Administration: Problems Setting Up An Employee User (Doc ID 1641045.1)

Symptoms

Unable to configure an Employee User in iSupport Administration.

When searching for an existing User Name under Administration > User, it does not come up.
However, the User Name can be found if the search is performed in 'CRM HTML Administration' Responsibility.

As shown in the image below, only users with User Type = Customer are retrieved.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The username should be accessible with the iSupport System Administrator responsibility, so that a default responsibility can be assigned to it.

Steps:

(R) iSupport Administration
(N) Home

http:// server:port /OA_HTML/ibualluser.jsp

- Administration link (top right)
- User tab > User subtab
- Searched for 'JSMITH' => The username is NOT retrieved.

(R) CRM HTML Administrator
(N) Users tab > Registration subtab

http:// server:port /OA_HTML/jtfasud.jsp

- Users tab > Registration subtab > User Maintenance
- Searched for 'JSMITH' => The username IS retrieved.
