Customer was earlier using responsibility based security. They are now trying to implement role based security, but it is not working in Self Service Web Application (SSWA).
The workplan TAB is now visible and therefore, customer is unable to update tasks.
Customer setup steps:
1. Create a new Role: 'Team Member'. Assign a menu 'Task Management' to this role.
Menu 'Task Management' is used for 'Project Management Manager' responsibility.
2. Menu 'Task Management' has 3 functions:
Task Manager (Grant)
Task Template Group (Grant)
Setup to Object Mapping (not Grant)
3. In Projects form >> Key Member option:
Assign this role: 'Team Member' to a user (User1)
4. In Self Service Web Application.
User1 uses 'Project Management Manager' responsibility.
Query an existing project.
He/she only sees 2 TABs: 'Project' and 'Reporting'. No Workplan TAB was available.
Note: 'PA: Cross Project User -- Update' profile set as 'N' at Site level.
