R12:OIE:What Determines The TRX_AVAILABLE_DATE Value In Table AP_CREDIT_CARD-TRXNS_ALL? (Doc ID 1643659.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 20, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Expenses - Version 12.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
TRX_AVAILABLE_DATE
AP_CREDIT_CARD-TRXNS_ALL
acceptor_wait_period
card_program_wait_period

Goal

Credit card transactions show a future dated value in column trx_available_date. For example, a Mastercard bank file has the following characteristics:
 transaction_date of 3/15/14 and a posted_date of 3/18/14.

The bank file is then successfully imported on 4/1/14 in the table ap_credit_card_trxns_all using "MasterCard CDF3 Transaction Loader and Validation Program".  Upon inspection it is found that ap_credit_card_trxns_all.trx_available_date shows date 4/13/2014, a future date. As a result, the users cannot see the credit card transaction in iExpense until 4/13/2014.

How does the Oracle Internet Expense product determine the date value in ap_credit_card_trxns_all.trx_available_date field?
