Adding Home Phone Number For Emergency Contact, Errors: Only one active home phone number is allowed. (Doc ID 1662072.1)

Symptoms

On :  11.5.10.2 version, BasicDet,Address,Phone,Contact

After attempting to add two Home Phone numbers, there is a duplicate home error, then attempt to enter a secondary home number and get a duplicate work number error.
The following errors are occurring:

Error 1: this is expected
Error:  Only one active home phone number is allowed.  Action:  Delete existing home phone, or use secondary home phone type.

 

Error 2: this is not expected when entering the secondary home number.
Error: only one active work phone is allowed.  Action: Delete existing work phone, or use secondary work phone type.  


Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Employee Self Service
2. Emergency Contact: Update
    Add another Phone Number of type “Home”.  This will be a duplicate:
    Select Next and the error occurs (expected)
    Error:  Only one active home phone number is allowed.  Action:  Delete existing home phone, or use secondary home phone type.
3. Following the instructions on the error we change the Home Number to Secondary Home Phone and then click next.
    Error: Only one active work phone number is allowed
