Transactions Workbench: Cannot Find a Transaction From the Past for an Inactive Customer (Doc ID 1663789.1)

Symptoms

Attempting to find a transaction for an inactive customer and receive the error:

Value entered is not valid for the current field. Please re-enter

Responsibility:  Receivables
Navigation: Customers>  Find Customer
Example: find customer number = 10KF1119, see this customer is inactive.

Navigation:  Transactions > Transactions
Query customer in the Transaction form
Cannot find a transaction with this customer, but this customer has data in the past
Example: you can find Transaction Number 221987 of Customer Number 10KF1119.
