iStore Registration fails with "Partner organization with this Registry ID does not exist in the system" (Doc ID 1664114.1)

Symptoms


When attempting to register a new iStore user, the following error is seen:

ERROR

Partner organization with this Registry ID does not exist in the system. Please verify the number and try again.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Access Register link
2. Select the registration link
3. Enter the customer registry id and other required information and submit
