When attempting to interface any delivery to Inventory, the following error occurs.
Calling program unit EC_DOCUMENT.SEND
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character to number conversion error in Package EC_DOCUMENT Procedure ECSEND API
Exiting WSH_DSNO.EC_DOCUMENT_SEND (04/09/2014 05:39:35 PM, 0 seconds)
Exiting WSH_DSNO.SUBMIT_TRIP_STOP (04/09/2014 05:39:35 PM, .06 seconds)
INTERFACETRIPSTOP: RESULT OF DSNO SUBMISSION FOR STOP_ID 1003 = ERROR
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
2 Run interface trip stop for any delivery
3. ITS completes with warning
4. Review ITS debug log file, see above error.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot complete interfacing any delivery OM and Inventory. This leaves unprocessed shipping transactions which prevent closure of the current accounting period.
Also, the failure occurred during DSNO processing. The result is an empty DSNO file.
