R12: CE: When Using an Amount Range to Find Available Transactions in the Find Transactions Window You Get Error Message "ORA-00936:missing expression" (Doc ID 1666342.1)

Symptoms

When trying to query Available Transactions for Detail, Statement Line using Amount Range, you receive the following error message:

ORA-00936: missing expression

 

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Go to Cash Management responsibility
2. (N): Bank Statements>Bank Statements and Reconciliation
3. Find the bank statement number wanted.
4. Click on Review. In the Bank Statement Lines window select the line to reconcile.
5. Click on Available. Select Detail and Enter Amount Range and the error occurs
