R12: Journal Posting Fails With Error 21/Missing conversion rate to replicate journal (Doc ID 1667078.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to Post a journal batch in primary ledger the following error is displayed in the Posting output.

Missing conversion rate to replicate journal


Also, the journal status shows the error below:

Error 21 - Unable to determine conversion rate to replicate journal

A Secondary ledger is assigned to the Primary ledger in different currency.

Checked that currency rates exist for all journals in the batch for both currency rate types: from Primary ledger and Secondary ledger.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to GL SuperUser responsibility
2. Navigate to Journals -> Enter
3. Click the POST button
4. View--Requests (Review the posting request and check the error)
