Oracle Trading Community - Version 12.1.3 and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
Prior to the upgrade from 22.214.171.124 to R12.1.3, party relationships 'Division Of' and 'Headquarters Of' were mapping to the relationship type of DIVISION / HEADQUARTERS. Since the upgrade, they are now mapped to DNB_HIERARCHY as well.
The list of values (LOV), under the Relationships tab in the Contact Center, uses a query that selects the MAX Relationship Type ID, which is the DNB_HIERARCHY. As a result, your reports are failing and your users are concerned about other impacts.
You want to be able to create a Relationship Type of 'Headquarters,' as it had prior to R12.
The only way to do this now is to build the Relationship in the other direction: Start in the OA Framework > Select Headquarters as the relationship type with the other organization party.
Steps to Reproduce: 1) Create a Party Relationship in the Contact Center form: Responsibility: Service Navigation: Customer Management > Contact Center -Query for Organization Party -Select Relationships Tab -Add a Relationship of 'Division Of' with another Organization Party -Save
2) Verify the Relationship created for the Party above is in AR (Receivables) Responsibility: Receivables Navigation: Customers > Customers -Query the above Customer -Click on the Customer Name -Select Party Relationships tab. Notice that it created a Relationship Type of D&B Headquarters
