Symptoms
On : AIX 12.1.3 version, 10.1.2.3.0 reports, JDK 1.6
Oracle Reports is slow to start after applying patches
After applying several patches that include the following:
Patch 13686664 - REQUEST CHANGES IN 10.1.2 MAKEFILE TO SUPPORT JDK 1.6 UPGRADE
Patch 14029977 MERGE REQUEST ON TOP OF 10.1.2.3.0 FOR BUGS 7230832 13579719
Reports (rwrun) are starting very slow (25 second delay) as oppose to 5 seconds.
