Upgraded from 11i to R12, and find Property Manager Lease Amendment is creating payments for previous periods
In 11i, when user amends a lease to extend the lease period and adds a new payment for the extended period, a new normalization period is created with the new period and a new payment is created for the new period -- the periods already processed are not affected.
In R12, when users do the same, the normalization schedule is wiping out the expense in the periods already processed and payments of $0 are being created for the prior periods. This occurs regardless of whether or not it is choosen to "extend terms" when prompted.
Also saying 'No' to re-normalizing.
