FARET - Calculate Gain and Losses
Symptoms
On Release 12.1.3,
When attempting to run Calculate Gains & Losses program for processing a Retirement ,
the following error occurs.
ERROR

ORA-01403: no data found
Error: function FA_GAINLOSS_UPD_PKG.farboe returned failure
Error: function FA_GAINLOSS_UPD_PKG.fagpdp returned failure
User-Defined Exception
Error: function FA_GAINLOSS_UPD_PKG.fagpdp returned failure
FAGPDP: Fail to insert Depreciation adjustments for asset XXXXXXX
Cause: You have a database problem.
Action: Contact your system administrator.
FAGRET: Fail to retire asset XXXXXXX
Cause: You have a database problem.
Action: Contact your system administrator.
Error: function FA_GAINLOSS_PKG.do_calc_gainloss_asset returned failure
Retirement ID: #### Asset Number: XXXXXXX --> ** Failed **
The Asset Id is XXXXXXX
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log to FA responsibility
2. Retire an asset with date retired equal Date Placed in Service .
3. Run Calculate Gains&Losses program.
