Tax Rule Does Not Work For Tax Status And Tax Rate By Determining Factor As Accounting (Doc ID 1673900.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle E-Business Tax - Version 12.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

You created a Tax Rule to override the Tax Status and Tax Rate by a specific Account.

For Example:
Default Tax Status = STD
Default Tax Rate = STD

If the Natural Account = xxxxx, the Tax Status and Tax Rate should be ZERO.
If you use the similar rule to drive a different Recoverable Rate, it works. But it fails on driving a different Tax Status and Tax Rate.

Debug log shows:

p_condition_value:xxxxx     p_trx_value:
condition is false

p_error_buffer  = Both account string and CCID are NULL
System is not able to find any segment value on the transaction.
