Symptoms

Created a defaulting rule using a custom PL/SQL code.

1. Develop customization using PL/SQL package: XX_OM_ITI_QUOTE_DEFAULT_PKG
2. Navigation: Oracle Quote --> Setup --> Defaulting Rules.
     Application: Order Capture.
     Entity: Quote Header.
3. Select one attribute which will use the defaulting rule, click on ''Defaulting Rules...
4. Select a Defauting Condition, and choose the Source Type 'PL/SQL API', then assign the custom package.function to the Default Source/Value.

Assign the defaulting rule for below attributes:

Price List
Sales Channel
Payment Terms
FOB
Freight Terms
Packing Instructions
Shipment Priority
Shipping Instructions
Shipping Method

The defaulting rule works fine for Payment Terms and Price List, but not for others.
