On the AP invoice, when performing 'Calculate Tax' the e-Tax engine creates an non-recoverable Tax line with the same distribution account as the item line and that is correct.
Now when this item line is a multi-period line (deferred option is checked on the line), the non-recoverable Tax line that is created is not automatically a multiperiod line (no deferred option).
If you indicate on an invoice line that you want to divide the costs over multiple periods, the non-recoverable tax line that is created from that line should also be multi-period, with the same deferred start and end date as the item line.
It is an additional cost on the same cost account, so clearly this should be MPA too.
It is expected that also the non-recoverable Tax line that is created by 'Calculate Tax' is a multiperiod line with the same deferred start and end date as the item line.
Due to this issue, users need to do some manual work.
End users always need to remember to revisit and manually update the system generated tax-line.
It is also not possible to use the Validation concurrent request, because you would have to manually update those validated invoices, which is not workable.
