Email Format Error When Registering A New Supplier.

When attempting to register new supplier with specific email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) , the following error occurs.
Contact Email - Please enter an Email Address that has the correct format (email@example.com).

Issue specific to email address format.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps.
1. In Sourcing Super User, creating the negotiation -> Supplier -> Add Supplier -> Register New Supplier .
Enter the details with email : firstname.lastname@example.org , click on Register and get the errors.
Customer have confirmed that email is correct.
