Starting Form Builder (frmbld.sh), Receive Libutj.so.0 Error After Upgrade To JDK7_51 (Doc ID 1677872.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 20, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Applications Technology Stack - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

 After upgrading the 10.1.2 home to use JDK7u51 (per <Note: 1467892.1>), starting the forms builder returns the following error

$ frmbld.sh
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM warning: You have loaded library $ORACLE_HOME/lib/libutj.so.0 which might have disabled stack guard. The VM will try to fix the stack guard now.
It's highly recommended that you fix the library with 'execstack -c <libfile>', or link it with '-z noexecstack'.

Ignoring the error does not seem to cause any functional issues in the form builder but causes confusion and concern for the developers.

Changes

Upgraded the 10.1.2 home to use JDK7u51
