Need to Replace Old Timeperiod ID in Per_time_periods After End Dating the Payroll (Doc ID 1679677.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2017

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Customer has end dated the Old Payroll as on 31-May-2014 and the time periods (in per_time_periods) till 30-Apr-2014 were left.
All the future time periods i.e., after 30-Apr-2014 got truncated from the table per_time_periods.

Then customer has reverted the payroll end date which generated the time periods back effective from 01-May-2014 but with a different time_period_id (i.e,2061) which is not in succession with the last existing time_period_id i.e., 400.
Since the customer has already filled the SIT values using the time periods (for which time_period_id values were different) before end dating the payroll ,those old time_period_ids were stored in corresponding segments in the per_analysis_criteria table for employees. When the SIT is accessed for that time periods before the Payroll end dating, a mismatch is occurring between the time_period_id ()2061 that current exists for period - 01/05 to 31/05 while the old time_period_id value for the same period was 401.

Now these old time_period_ids need to be replaced with the existing newly generated time_period_ids to resolve the issue.
