On INVIDITM Validation For Fixed Lot Multiplier Not Done Correctly Under General Planning Tab (Doc ID 1679944.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Item Master - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Item Issues

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

On the Item SubInventories form, for an Item if Fixed Lot Multiplier is defined,
then the form validates the Minimum Order Quantity when entered and suggests -

"Minimum order quantity must be a multiple of the fixed lot multiple"

But on the Item Master form, for an Item with Fixed Lot Multiplier defined,
the Form only validates on the Maximum Order Quantity and not on the Minimum Order Quantity.

"Maximum order quantity must be a multiple of the fixed lot multiple"

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------

The Form should validate the Minimum Order Quantity in relation to Fixed Lot Multiplier value and throw errors or warnings
