Goal

How to create and use Party Type 'Group' in Receivables application?

You have a business scenario where you have to come out of your Legacy system and model a need to assign a Consolidation Code to a Party of the same Group.
In Trading Community Architecture (TCA), there is a Party Type of GROUP.

In the Legacy system, you have a set of customer that you identify with the help of a code, called Consolidation Code.

Group Parties can be created with the following TCA API:
Name of the API : CREATE GROUP API
Base Tables Affected : HZ_PARTIES
PL/SQL Procedure used : CREATE_GROUP
Package Used : HZ_PARTY_V2PUB

The Relationship functionality is available, but you want to use Group Party concept below:

You want to create
1. A party of Type GROUP
2. Assign other Party as member of the GROUP PARTY created in Step 1

Why is the modeling for this scenario (where you have to create a parent party and make all the party members of the group party) not available to be used?
What is the best case scenario of using the TCA GROUP PARTY with a simple example?
