Information in this document applies to any platform.
When a price is entered that has a decimal value greater than 4 decimals, the error message, "Line Price quote precision exceeds allowable precision for line 1", is displayed.
This is expected. However, when attempting to correct the price to a decimal value of 4 or less, the following error is displayed:
Unable to perform transaction on the record.
Cause: The record contains stale data. The record has been modified by another user.
Action: Cancel the transaction and re-query the record to get the new data.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
-The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create Quote: 4127 (RFQ 8200). Price Precision is set to 4 decimals maximum
2. Enter a price with 5 decimals. The following is displayed, which is expected:
"Line Price quote precision exceeds allowable precision for line 1.
3. Attempt to change the price to a decimal of 4 or less.
