Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On :  12.1.2 version, Asset Definition

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Need to disassociate EAM Asset Parent Relationships but the Update Icon is not showing under the Update Tab.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect the update icon to appear under the update tab

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
(1) Log into Self Service Maintenance responsibility.
(2) Select the maintenance organization on the home page where this asset belongs.
(3) Click the Assets tab and search for the Asset that you want to deactivate.
(4) Select this Asset and click the "Configuration History" page.
(5) By default the Configuration History page shows only children.
Choose the option on this page
(6) Show parents of this page and click Go button.
(7) Now the parent of this Asset will be displayed.
(8) End date the relationship for the Parent Asset. (This will ensure that the Asset does not have any parent).
Note:  The Update Icon is not showing here. I have tried this in both the Oracle Seeded responsibilities as well as our custom responsibilities.
(9) Now go to the Asset Numbers form using the Oracle Enterprise Asset
Management responsibility.
(10) Query up the Asset that you want to de-activate and de-activate it. (end date the asset)
