"Accrue At Receipt" Not Ticked As Default On PO Created Via REQ Linked To EAM Work Order (Doc ID 1680852.1)

Last updated on JUNE 01, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Purchasing - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In R12.1.3,
We have applied a number of CPU / PSUs to a test system (details will be attached of which patches), and are testing those patches at the moment.

We have found that if we do this:

1. Create a Work Order in Enterprise Asset Management
2. Add some Description Direct items to the Work Order
3. Release Work Order
4. Requisition Import is fired and requisition is generated and approved
5. REQ is AutoCreated to a PO
6. PO is sent for approval - error message received:

Error: Between Shipment 1 and Distribution 1 of Line 1 , the 'Accrue at Receipt' and 'Destination type' mismatch.

7. Go to PO Shipment > More tab. The "Accrue at Receipt" tick box is NOT ticked as it is by default on PROD at the moment.
8. If we tick that option, the PO can be approved.

We need the "Accrue at Receipt" option to be ticked automatically for these type of requisitions.

STEPS

8. If we tick that option, the PO can be approved.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
Will slow down AutoCreation of REQs originating via EAM as users will need to add in a manual step to change "Accrue at Receipt" step when AutoCreating EAM Reqs to POs.
