Applies to:Oracle Asset Tracking - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Customers wishing to make use of the instance_id within the CSE_ASSET_CLIENT_EXT_STUB.GET_ASSET_DESCRIPTION API find that the instance_id is passed within the l_asset_attrib_rec data structure is not set within the standard code of the CSE_FAC_INSERVICE_PKG.CREATE_PROJECT_ASSETAPI from where the custom user hook is called until AFTER the call to CSE_ASSET_CLIENT_EXT_STUB.GET_ASSET_DESCRIPTION is made.
The l_asset_attrib_rec.instance_id should be populated at the beginning of the CSE_FAC_INSERVICE_PKG.CREATE_PROJET_ASSET procedure using the value passed in via the p_instance_id variable.
