'Reserve Orders Concurrent' Program Reserves Orders On HOLD (Doc ID 1681137.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 02, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

You do not want the Reserve Orders Concurrent program in Oracle Order Management to reserve sales orders that are on HOLD.

The system parameter "Schedule Lines on Hold" is not the solution because you need lines to schedule even though they are on HOLD, but you do not want them to 'Reserve'.

If there is a way to determine which HOLDs should allow reservation and which should not -- by hold type -- that would be preferred.

Is there a way to accomplish this?
